A popular Disneyland restaurant will be closed for longer than anticipated!
The reopening of Napa Rose, located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, has been delayed. Previously, the restaurant was expected to reopen in the fall of 2025, but the reopening date has now been pushed back to early 2026.
This popular restaurant has been closed since April 2025. During the closure, the restaurant will be getting a remodel with a new interior and patio. It appears the remodel is taking longer than anticipated as the reopening has been pushed back to early 2026. The remodeling plans include expanded counters where guests can watch the restaurant’s chefs in action. Disney explained that the restaurant “will have a rustic elegance and will be a tapestry of California’s storied history of wine and winemaking, using natural textures such as reclaimed French oak flooring and columns (a type of wood used to make wine barrels), hand-pinged artisan metals, leathers, deep colors of cabernet, and an eye-catching chandelier inspired by California’s Mission grapevines.”
The patio will also get more seating and two more fireplaces. According to Disney, guests dining on the patio will be “surrounded by lush greenery and soft lighting, the California breeze enhancing the flavors of your meal.” The two new fireplaces “will cast a warm, flickering glow across the patio, adding a cozy and inviting touch to the atmosphere. As the sun sets, you can gather around the fire, reflecting on your Disney day and enjoying the ambiance.”
When Napa Rose does reopen, it will also feature new menu items. Luckily, Disney confirmed Napa Rose will still serve fan favorites like the Smiling Tiger Salad and will still offer an impressive wine collection of more than 1,500 labels.
We still can’t wait to dine at Napa Rose again in early 2026 and see the changes and taste the new menu items. Stay tuned to DFB for all your Disneyland news!
