It’s been a WILD weekend, y’all. First, we marathoned the first day of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival. Then we hurried on over to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort to attend Destination D23, which is the biggest Disney fan event of the year.
Now, we’ve had some news already coming out of Destination D23, like the announcement of a new movie, not to mention more details about upcoming movies. We also learned a little more about Disney World’s upcoming Villains land, and got some news about a new Disneyland documentary. Well, now we’ve got some more Disney Parks news for you because Disney dropped the opening timeline for its new World of Frozen land coming to Disneyland Paris.
We previously knew that World of Frozen would open in Disneyland Paris in 2026, but now Disney has confirmed that the Kingdom of Arendelle will be opening to visitors in spring 2026. This will also be a milestone to mark the official transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World.
Walt Disney Imagineering also released a video showing the impressive construction of Elsa’s ice palace for the land in the reimagined park, where “immersive worlds inspired by the most popular Disney stories are brought to life.”
