We can’t help it, we’re already getting SO EXCITED about the holiday season in Disneyland Resort!
Okay, okay, we know that it might seem a little early to be thinking about the holiday season, especially with so much still to look forward to in Disneyland before then. There’s the 70th Anniversary Celebration still in full swing, Halloween offerings for spooky season, not to mention Thanksgiving, the poor holiday that sometimes seems to get completely lost in the shuffle between Halloween and Christmas excitement. But still, we couldn’t help but feel a surge of holiday spirit when we spotted this Disneyland update!
Earlier this year, Disneyland confirmed a TON of holiday offerings heading to the resort in 2025. A few of the popular festivities returning include Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, Disney Festival of Holidays, and Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, all set to begin on November 14th and continue through January 7th, 2026.
Another holiday favorite scheduled to return is A Christmas Fantasy Parade, also running from November 14th through January 7th, 2026. The ultra-festive parade features popular Disney characters, joined by lots of familiar holiday faces, like reindeer, marching toy soldiers, dancing gingerbread cookies, and, of course, Santa Claus himself!
The crowds can get pretty intense for the limited-edition holiday parade, so we typically suggest getting there plenty early if snagging a prime viewing spot is at the top of your must-do list.
Some of our favorite spots to watch the parade are near “it’s a small world” Holiday and along the parade route next to the Matterhorn Bobsleds. Or, you can also get reserved seating on Main Street, U.S.A., included when you book the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour.
But that’s not the only way to get a great spot for A Christmas Fantasy Parade without having to camp out forever this holiday season! Plaza Inn will offer A Christmas Fantasy Parade Dining Package, available starting November 16th!
The dining package is priced at $58 per adult and $32 per child with a prix-fixe menu. The price includes both a meal and access to reserved viewing for the parade!
The adult prix-fixe menu comes with creamy potato leek soup, herb-roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, buttered haricots verts served with a caramelized onion sauce, a holiday yule log, and a fountain drink. The children’s prix-fixe menu comes with chicken tenders served with creamy mashed potatoes, green beans, and chicken gravy with a Hawaiian roll, holiday yule log, and botttled water or milk.
The holiday dining package will be available to book on September 25th, 2025, and since seasonal offerings can get snapped up super fast, be sure to mark your calendar to make your reservation ASAP!
We’ll be on the lookout for more holiday season updates from around the Disney parks, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news!
