EPCOT Ride Change

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a popular roller coaster in EPCOT that opened in 2022. Since it’s themed to the Guardians of the Galaxy films, you know that it has to have an awesome soundtrack…and it does! Typically, when riding the coaster, you’ll get a randomized song from a list of six different choices.

One of the songs on that list is “September,” and it’s often thought of as the “best” of the group, so fans tend to get pretty excited when they get that one in particular. The song tells the story of the 21st night of September, so to honor that date in a fun way, Disney will be playing “September” all day long for the ride. That’s right, it’ll be the ONLY song you can get that day.

Disney CONFIRMS a BIG Ride Change Coming to EPCOT on September 21st

Disneyland Parade Smoke

On September 10th, there were reports that one of the parade floats at Disneyland was spotted being surrounded by smoke, with reports online saying there was a fire.

Paint the Night Parade

Disneyland later confirmed that the Mermaid float in Disney’s Paint the Night Parade experienced a power issue, according to Scott Gustin. While the float was being towed, smoke was seen due to a complication with the brakes. No fire was reported by Disneyland.

Disney Adventure Sail Date Pushed

Disney Cruise Line is notifying customers that the launch of a new cruise ship — the Disney Adventure — will be several months behind schedule.

The maiden voyage of Disney’s latest ship — originally scheduled for December 15th, 2025 — has been rescheduled for March 10th, 2026. An email to customers who had booked an affected cruise was sent late on the evening of September 10th. Citing “unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process,” Disney said it will automatically refund any payments made for the cruises that have been canceled.

Disney World Closures

The Paddock Pool, aquatic play area, and The Paddock Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort will be closing on October 13th for routine maintenance and will be reopening sometime in December. Read more about this closure here!

We confirmed with store employees that Promenade Fine Art Gallery will be closing at Disney’s BoardWalk on October 19th and will be moving to a new location.
