Disney World’s Gift Card Deal for New Annual Passes Ends Soon

If you’ve been wanting to snag a Disney World Annual Pass and become an official Passholder, you might want to grab your pass before September 30th.

Disney World Annual Pass

Disney recently announced a deal where you can get a free Disney Gift Card when you purchase a new Annual Pass, and when the promotion was originally announced, there wasn’t an end date. Disney officially confirmed the date when the offer ends, so you’ll want to get your pass soon.

Now until September 30th, if you purchase a new Disney World Annual Pass, you can get a Disney Gift Card emailed to you for free.

Annual Pass

There are different amounts per type of pass:

$100 — Disney Incredi-Pass
$75 — Disney Sorcerer Pass (for Florida residents)
$50 — Disney Pirate Pass (for Florida residents)
$25 — Disney Pixie Pass (for Florida residents)

The only catch? It needs to be a new pass, not a renewal.

Something to keep in mind as well is that Annual Passes start when they’re activated, not when they’re purchased. Personally, I bought my Annual Pass months before I activated it, which was during my next visit to the parks. This tip is great if you’re planning on gifting an Annual Pass to someone for the holidays.

There are so many perks to being an Annual Passholder, beyond the ability to enter the parks when you want (barring blackout dates). You can get extra discounts on merchandise, dining, and have access to early previews for attractions or limited-time lounges. There’s also sometimes special treats only for Passholders.

Recently, there was a limited-time meet and greet at the Germany pavilion in EPCOT, where you got to meet Dopey. This was only for Passholders and an extra benefit on top of your pass.

Let’s not forget about the magnets! This might seem silly to some, but trust us, Annual Passholders go crazy for these things. Every few months or so, Disney releases a new magnet that Passholders can pick up for free. We’ve seen characters like Maleficent, Crush, Stitch, and more.
