For decades, LEGO and Disney have joined forces to bring beloved stories and characters to life in brick form, delighting both kids and adult fans alike.

LEGO Store at Disney Springs
From magical castles and Pixar favorites to Star Wars and Marvel blockbusters, these sets aren’t just toys. They are collectors’ treasures that capture the heart of storytelling in a detailed, buildable form. For many fans, LEGO Disney sets offer the perfect blend of nostalgia and creativity, making them centerpiece display pieces as much as they are playful builds.
LEGO has teamed up with Disney to bring us set #10365: Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship, a stunning Icons series build that revisits the eerie allure of the Black Pearl, once known as the Wicked Wench, in breathtaking detail. Designed specifically for adult builders aged 18 and up, this model boasts a whopping 2,862 pieces, forming a grand structure that measures about 26″ tall and wide, and around 10″deep.
The release for this set will kick off with early access for LEGO Insiders on September 12, before the general launch on September 15, 2025.
This isn’t just a static display piece. LEGO’s designers packed it with interactive charm. A clever gear mechanism lets you deploy all eight cannons at once, while the ship’s wheel actually turns the rudder. Want to go from display mode to sailing mode? You can! The hull splits at the waterline for an angled display or a dynamic “sailing” pose. The build also reveals interior detail when you remove parts of the deck. Inside, you’ll find a richly furnished captain’s cabin and a cargo bay. Additional touches include a detachable rowboat, a figurehead styled as a minifigure, and special cloth sails for added realism.
No pirate ship is complete without its ragtag crew. This set includes eight exclusive minifigures: Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa (with undead pieces), Gibbs, Cotton (with his parrot), Anamaria, and Marty. These favorite characters bring life to the model, which is perfect for reenacting classic scenes or spinning your own tales of swashbuckling adventure.
This epic build is priced at $379.99 USD. Early purchasers from LEGO.com will receive a special Gift with Purchase: a small, 151-piece Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass set, making for another fun display piece. While that price puts it in the upper tier of LEGO sets, the intricate mechanics, iconic theme, and collectible value make this a standout both on the shelf and in any fan’s collection.
