It’s certainly no secret that Disney World is undergoing quite a few transformations throughout its parks and beyond.

For once, though, EPCOT is NOT the problem child (even if we still have PTSD from Wall-COT). Overall, there are no massive transformations going on around this park — but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still changes you might want to know about before your next trip!

Changes have hit the World Showcase at EPCOT, and we are loving them! If you’re planning an upcoming trip to the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, make sure you keep an eye out for these updates.

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Booths

The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is an annual celebration of global cuisine in Disney World! This year’s event runs from August 28th through November 22nd.

Now that the 2025 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off, we’ve eaten our way around the entire festival! There are over 35 Marketplace Food Booths for you to explore and enjoy, and most of them are scattered throughout the World Showcase. Gachapon Corner

The Japan Pavilion is one of the best places to shop in EPCOT, and this new addition just proves it. Over in Gachapon Corner, we found these adorable vending machines that look like they’re straight from Japan (because they are!).

We paid and then turned the dial, creating an incredible nostalgic experience, and received our little toy. There are lots to choose from, and we went for a Hello Kitty one.

The toys come unassembled, so you get the joy of building them, and then BOOM, you get a little figurine. It’s a fun new addition that we think adults and kiddos alike will love.

Streetmosphere Is BACK

Two brand-new shows have debuted in EPCOT! You’ll find the first show over in the Germany pavilion, called German Freestyle Soccer Duo. This show features the soccer duo, Samu Weller and Camill Hauser! During the show, the two guys talk about the importance of soccer in Germany, what it means to the country, and how much it’s loved there.

In addition to the soccer duo, make sure you keep an eye out for the other new show located in the France pavilion — Acrobatico! The show features an acrobatic performer who does tricks while stacking chairs and climbing them.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, they do this all while balancing a tray with a full glass of water! Both shows take place several times throughout the day, so make sure you check the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date times.

Something NEW Has Landed at EPCOT

Secret Lounge

The Florida Blue Lounge is located in the Morocco Pavilion in what used to be Restaurant Marrakesh, and we’re so thrilled it’s back this year! This lounge is an air-conditioned paradise that gives you a great break from the heat and crowds at Food and Wine. Inside, you’ll find lots of free drinks like Moroccan mint tea, cold brew, water, and more, plus a cool place to take a break from the heat.

The Florida Blue Lounge is open to everyone! However, you do have to register if you want to enter, which can be done in a few ways. You can search for Florida Blue Lounge in the My Disney Experience app, which will direct you to their site, and you’ll put in the information they ask for, or you can visit the Florida Blue website and fill out this form on the lounge page.
