FIRST LOOK: Disney Is Releasing a NEW Villains Collectible

A brand-new Ursula Doll will be debuting this September!

We are currently at the Destination D23 Expo, the biggest Disney fan event of the year. We have gotten a sneak peek at 15 exclusive holiday treats, got a first look at Disney’s Napa Rose Restaurant transformation, learned about changes coming to Carousel of Progress, and more. As part of the “Disney Villains: Icons of Evil” panel, we got a first look at a NEW Ursula Doll that will be available soon!

This new Ursula Doll will be the newest addition to the Darkness Descends Series, which started with Maleficent in 2023 and continued with Cruella de Vil in 2024. This intricately designed doll is made with premium materials and comes nestled in a gorgeous box.

The doll shows Ursula after she has transformed into the “supreme ruler she’s always dreamed of becoming, complete with her signature tentacles, an over-the-top organza collar, and a sinister smirk as she embraces her epic powers in style.”

Mattel has designed the Ursula doll with UV accents that can be activated by LED lights inside the packaging. When the lights are activated, the Ursula doll turns into a “neon nightmare” with lots of bright, colorful accents. This doll is full of “attitude, power, and theatrics, with a touch of fashion-forward flair.” You can grab this new doll beginning September 8th at MattelCreations.com.

That is not all the Disney Villains news we got from Destination D23, though. Disney Imagineers revealed some more details about the Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom. We also got a sneak peek at some of the villains coming to the Disney Destiny, including Dr. Facilier and Loki. Plus, we learned more details about the Cruella de Vil Show. There is also a NEW Disney Villains party coming to Hong Kong Disneyland!
