Heads up if you’re heading to Magic Kingdom soon to see Disney’s newest nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, there’s some important news you need to know!
Currently, Disney Starlight plays each night at 9 PM and 11 PM, but soon, that’s going to change! You’ll need to plan accordingly, because these show times are moving UP.
From now through August 30th, Disney Starlight will continue to have showtimes at 9 PM and 11 PM.
However, beginning August 31st and through as far as Disney World’s calendar goes right now, the shows will now take place at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM!
This is due to the fact that the sun will begin setting earlier and earlier as summer turns into fall, and oftentimes park hours get a bit shorter in the parks overall. This very likely won’t be the last time we see these times change — as we get further into fall and winter, these times will likely change to earlier as well. Be sure to check your My Disney Experience App for the latest showtimes and news on the day(s) of your trips.
We personally love this new parade and all the magic it brings us. It’s full of nostalgia, incredible floats, wonderful music, and so much more. If you’re thinking of catching a showtime and want a really great spot, be sure to grab a spot at least an hour in advance, and AT LEAST twenty minutes ahead of time no matter what!
