Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

The parks are changing now more than ever, with the addition of new lands like Monsters, Inc. Land, Piston Peak, and Pueblo Esperanza. It’s not just the parks getting on the construction chaos, though. Now, a popular Disney resort is getting in on the fun!

Beginning on August 25th, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will join in on the construction trend in Disney World! The lobby at the New Orleans-themed resort will undergo refurbishment that will go on through the end of September.

Disney has warned that guests may hear or see construction during the day. The lobby will remain open during this construction, and luckily, all amenities will be available. We would be lost without our beignets!

Disney hasn’t shared what the changes will be, but you can be sure we will keep you updated. French Quarter will be joining its sister resort, Port Orleans – Riverside, in the changes coming to the resorts. As always, be sure to keep following DFB for more Disney news and updates.
