Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has officially kicked off at Magic Kingdom, and we’re here on the first night taking in all the sights, sounds, frights, and of course — foods.

Howdy from Frontierland!
We’re headed over to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe to check out the exclusive eats they’re serving up during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Are they worth your time and money during this after-hours event? Let’s find out!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal Magic Kingdom event. The event runs on select nights from August 15th through October 31st, 2025! If you ask us, the exclusive and limited-time eats are some of the BEST things about this party, so we headed to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe to check out what’s cooking during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
First up, we grabbed the brand-new Buzzard Wings for $11.99. These are whole chicken wings tossed with grilled onions, jalapeños, and lime. These are only available during the party!
These were INCREDIBLE! They pulled apart, practically fell off the bone, and the inside was cooked beautifully. However, our two complaints are that we would have liked the skin to be a little crispier, and we didn’t think the cilantro and onions worked super well on top, so we could have done without them. Otherwise, the glaze over top was nice and savory, and we loved that the jalapenos had their seeds, so it truly gave the dish a kick. We do think they’re a little overpriced, but if you want something spicy and savory at the party, this is a great option!
For dessert, we grabbed the new Pumpkin Pie Mini Churros rolled in orange sugar and served with pumpkin pie dipping sauce. These are available for $6.49.
These churros taste like your normal, basic Disney World churros (although we do find the mini ones to almost always be better than the full size), and the sauce to dip them in really did taste like pumpkin frosting! We think these will be a good option for those looking to share a sweet treat, who love pumpkin, or just want something a little more friendly to picky eaters.
We’ll be bringing you LIVE updates from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom, so keep checking back here.

In previous years, we have also tried some of the other treats available at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, including the Grilled Masa Flatbread which you can get for $12.99. It is a Grilled corn cake topped with braised chicken, butternut squash puree, cilantro-pumpkin seed sauce, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco. This is a DELICIOUS flatbread that reminded us of a taco with a bunch of toppings, but in flat form. We also loved that it was on a grilled corn tortilla vs. the usual flour tortillas you get at Pecos Bill. Bonus? When we had it before, we were told this could be made vegan.
You can also grab the Chocolate-Caramel Tart for $6.29. This is a Chocolate tart shell filled with chocolate ganache, caramel sauce, and caramel cream, topped with TWIX cookie bar pieces and a chocolate piece. This cute treat basically tastes like a Twix bar, so if you like Twix, this one is a must. But you need to eat it fast because it melts and becomes a mushy mess pretty quickly.
