EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is kicking off shortly with tons of exciting eats, drinks, and entertainment.

2024 Food and Wine Festival
The festival, which starts on August 28th, 2025, is sure to bring back tons of favorites along with some brand new bites. While we do love this festival, there’s one little secret we have that makes it better every time. We’ve talked as a team and decided it’s time to let you in on it!
There are so many cool things about EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival! The food booths, the entertainment, and decor are just a few of our favorite things. While we prepare for everything this festival has to offer, we’re also smiling to ourselves thinking about one little secret that makes this annual event even better.

The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival
If you manage to somehow pull your eyes away from the festival booths and head over to the Germany Pavilion, you too can find the sweetest secret in EPCOT. You may or may not have heard of the Tiny Train Town in this pavilion, and we are obsessed with this place. Heck, I’m friends with the mayor!

Tiny Train Town!
This town is constantly keeping us on our toes with its stories full of tragedy, heartbreak, and humor (that, yes, we make up in our heads). Well, one thing we don’t make up in our heads is that even the tiny town gets in on the fun of the Food and Wine Festival!

They’re celebrating the festival too!
Yes, the secret is that inside our large festival, there is a smaller, tiny festival! Each time EPCOT changes to its next celebration, so do the people of the Tiny Train Town. The signs all around the town switch to match those in EPCOT. While this might not seem like a major thing to some, to us, it makes us giggle. Every time we see the new signs, it feels like we share a secret with Disney World.

Train Village in the Germany Pavilion
This year, new changes are coming to the festival, like the addition of the breakfast buffet in France. As a special event during the festival, you’ll be able to have a breakfast buffet at Chefs de France, where you can “Indulge in a traditional French breakfast experience that transports you straight to the cafés of Paris.”

Chefs de France
The buffet will consist of assorted French pastries like croissants, pain au chocolat, almond croissants, and more. Plus, there will be freshly baked baguettes, premium cheeses, and artisanal cured meats! It will be all you can eat and cost $64.95 per person. We can’t help but wonder if the Tiny Train Town citizens will also get a new French breakfast buffet.

At Chefs de France, the sunroom is one of our favorite places to sit!
If planning your visit to the Food and Wine Festival feels overwhelming, don’t let it be! Our team has spent years perfecting our Food and Wine Festival Guide so you know what is and isn’t worth your time and money in EPCOT.
Let the entire DFB take the guesswork out of your festival day by grabbing your own guide right here! We can’t wait for the festival to run from August 28th through November 22nd, 2025. So now, when everyone else is strolling around only sipping on their wine and biting their food, you’ll be doing the same, but with this secret knowledge of one tiny town. As always, be sure to keep following DisneyFoodBlog for more Disney secrets and hacks.
