There are so many perks when you stay at a Disney World resort, but some of them feel too good to be true!

Disney’s Riviera Resort
From Early Theme Park Entry to free transportation, Disney gives you a lot to love about staying at one of their hotels. The resorts are home to some Disney-themed rooms as well as some of our favorite restaurants and pools. I’ve been writing about Disney resorts for two years, and I’m still shocked that guests can do these things!
1. Renting DVC Points from Members
Disney Vacation Club points can be borrowed from time-share owners to book deluxe villas. You can also do this often at a fraction of the rack rate. That means you could score a stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or Disney’s Riviera Resort without paying full price. Booking through trusted rental services saves hundreds, offering direct access to DVC-level rooms with none of the resale hassle.

2. Splitting Your Stay for Style and Savings
Book two separate hotel reservations during your vacation—say, three nights at a Moderate or Value resort, followed by a few nights at a Deluxe property. It lets you experience both budget-friendly hotels and finery without splurging for your whole trip. You get the high-end amenities at the end and the playful lower-tier vibe at the start. It’s a smart blend of savings and indulgence.

3. Table-Service Meals Enjoyed From Your Room
Did you know you can order meals that usually require a table service reservation to go? Some resort restaurants allow mobile orders for to-go table service meals. Think rolls, appetizers, and even entrees for options, as it is not the full menu of items you’ll find while dining there. A few of our favorites are Kona Cafe and Steakhouse 71. You can simply mobile order from the My Disney Experience app and head to the restaurant to pick it up. You can eat it on your resort bed while watching a movie, which sounds like the perfect way to relax.

4. Enjoying Deluxe Resort Perks While Staying Value
Even if you stay in a Value resort, you’re by no means locked out of deluxe experiences. Sure, you can’t swim in their pools or access club lounges, but you can dine there, attend their nightly activities, and soak up the ambiance. Visiting the Grand Floridian or Polynesian for dinner or tropical cocktails doesn’t require a reservation. In fact, many Disney adults intentionally soak in the high-end vibe while paying lower rates elsewhere.
