If you’ve visited Disney World even just once, you’ll know how valuable the My Disney Experience app is. In fact, it’s almost impossible to live without it while you’re visiting the parks.

The My Disney Experience app lets you do everything from unlocking your Disney World hotel room to allowing you to pay for purchases through Mobile Checkout, as well as pre-order food through Mobile Order. You’ll even check into your restaurant dining reservations through the app. Well, something NEW has come to the app — and you’ll want to know about this update.

So if you’ve visited the My Disney Experience app or even My Disney Experience on the Disney World website, you may know that you can choose a Disney character for your profile photo — and many characters are available. Yes,  your My Disney Experience profile can be your favorite character! For example, mine is the Evil Queen.

Well, three NEW characters are now available for profile photos. There’s Meg from Hercules (seriously, how is she just getting added NOW?).

Mother Gothel is also finally available. Mother knows best!

AND you can finally set your profile photo to Yzma from The Emperor’s New Groove. Pull the lever, Kronk!

If you want to change your profile photo, you can do it in one of two ways. First, you can change it through the My Disney Experience app by clicking on your current profile photo. The full list of available characters will come up. Choose the one you want, and voila! New profile photo! You can also change it on the Disney World website by logging into the site and rolling your mouse over “My Disney Experience.” Click on “Profile” and then “Change Character.”
