Disney was busy this July with some big-time announcements that have us excited for what’s coming next!

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

From park news to announcements that could literally affect your love life, a lot happened in July 2025. Let’s get into some of the nitty-gritty, including an announcement that truly stood out!

The dating world was thrown upside down when it was announced that a NEW Disney Adult dating app is in the works!

Single rider line at Soarin’!

Single Riders is an upcoming dating app developed by Disney content creator Joe the Bearded Nerd specifically for Disney Adults and other theme park enthusiasts to connect, both romantically and platonically. 

The app is named after theme park single rider lines at theme parks and will encourage the sharing of interests and potential meetups. The creator is hoping to get a beta version up and running later this year.

On a more serious note, Disney World finally released details for its Christmas holiday parties this year! Both Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios are returning this winter with PLENTY to offer.

Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Featuring a slight increase in price this year, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be held on the following dates:

• November: 7th, 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 20th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 28th, 30th
• December: 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, 19th, 21st

Club Tinsel!

The Party will also include access to Magic Kingdom attractions (including TRON Lightcycle / Run), photo opportunities with characters in rare garb,  complimentary snacks and drinks, holiday overlays on rides like Space Mountain, the Jungle Cruise, and the Tomorrowland Speedway, special nighttime entertainment, and more!

Jollywood Nights is also getting a price increase, unfortunately, in 2025. The dates for this event are as follows:

• November: 8th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th
• December: 1st, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 22nd

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM

Jollywood nights will offer access to special shows, event-exclusive merch and treats, short lines at select rides, Jazzy Holidays — a speakeasy-inspired jazz lounge, Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, special character meet-and-greets, and more! Additionally, the party is getting some new features, including the following:

• Miguel at Holiday Fiesta en la Calle in a NEW location near Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster
• Entrance to the park was allowed earlier this year, starting at 5:30 PM
• The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After will both be available
• A new specialty menu will be offered at Backlot Express Restaurant
• A new Jollywood Nights merch collection will be available
