REVIEW: This May Be One of The Best Starbucks Drinks We’ve Ever Had…And It’s Thousands of Miles Away

Recently, we got a chance to travel to Hong Kong Disneyland to celebrate their 20th Anniversary, and we got the opportunity to try SO many fun snacks, drinks, and entertainment opportunities that we can’t get over in the United States.

Hong Kong Disneyland is similar to the United States parks in a way that you CAN find Starbucks in the park, which is fantastic if you want something a little more familiar. However, we tried two drinks that we need to see IMMEDIATELY in the States, and we think we’ll throw a fit soon if we don’t!

Chocolate and Orange is a flavor combination we see very often in the United States, especially closer to the holidays, so we’re petitioning for Disney World and Disneyland (and honestly, every Starbucks menu, if we’re really being honest) to bring the Orange Mocha Latte to the menu ASAP!

This tastes just like those chocolate oranges you grab during the holiday season, and we thought it was a great crowd pleaser. It was basic in the best way, and anyone who enjoys that blend of chocolate and citrus will likely adore it. However, the drink that REALLY shocked us and we’ve been craving ever since was the Yuzu Cold Brew!

This was so unique, and it won’t be for everyone, but for us? It hit the spot on the immensely hot day we spent in the park. We thought Starbucks was going to use yuzu syrup, but instead, it was like a yuzu slush, almost like a frozen lemonade. It was floating in the cold brew in place of ice, and it gave the drink a delicious acidic (but not sour!) taste that was so refreshing. You wouldn’t think lemon would go well with coffee, but in this case, the bitter and citrus acidic tastes were fantastic together.
