Disneyland just turned 70 years old, y’all! And to celebrate, the park is having a HUGE 70th Anniversary Celebration that will last until next year.

That means, you have at least a whole year to check out the return of the Paint The Night parade, as well as all the 70th Anniversary decor, PLUS enjoy some special 70th Anniversary snacks and drinks. Speaking of which, we just discovered a new 70th Anniversary DOLE Whip treat, so OBVIOUSLY, we had to try it and share our thoughts with you.

Let’s head on over to Adventureland to visit The Tropical Hideaway, Disneyland’s main spot for picking up that most FAMOUS of Disney snacks, the iconic DOLE Whip. However, we came here to snag a Pineapple Upside Down Sundae made with DOLE Whip Pineapple, Caramel Drizzle, and Pineapple Upside-down cake with a Maraschino Cherry served in the all-new Disneyland 70th Celebration Cup for $10.69.

Okay, we have a warning about this sundae: the cake tends to get soggy in it, so if you’re not a fan of soggy cake, you might want to stick with a regular DOLE Whip. We’ve had similar snacks before with bigger chunks of cake that didn’t get soggy, but, yep, this is soggy DOLE Whip-soaked cake. There are a lot of pineapple chunks, cake pieces, and caramel, though, and we really loved the caramel layer on the bottom.

As you can see, you can also get this in a special 70th Anniversary souvenir cup. However, you can get the cup with any flavor of DOLE Whip, including the brand new Peach DOLE Whip flavor we so recently became obsessed with.
