Picture this: you’ve just arrived at your favorite Disney World attraction and located the stroller parking area for your stroller. You are in a hurry, so you park and go, accidentally leaving some snacks out. Have you ever wondered what happens to your stroller and any snacks you might have left in the stroller parking area? Well, your stroller and the stroller snacks may be getting some company!
You may be providing a feast without even knowing it! With how much there is to do in Disney World, it can be helpful to enjoy some snacks on the go. However, we highly recommend bringing some storage containers for those snacks, as you may be feeding unexpected guests otherwise!
If you have been to Disney World, you have likely seen a wild animal enjoying a feast from a stroller. Families often leave various food items open without even thinking about it, and animals are more than willing to take advantage. It can be so easy to be in a hurry and forget about that cup of Cheerios you left in your stroller. Well, we spotted a crow that was VERY satisfied with those Cheerios in EPCOT recently!
If you are snacking on the go, make sure you seal up your snacks unless you are okay with some animal visitors. We spot all sorts of animals taking advantage of food in strollers. We have seen squirrels and other birds making themselves at home.
It is definitely not the end of the world if an animal steals some of your food — although it is probably not the healthiest thing for them and then you will be without your snack. However, we wanted this to serve as a quick reminder to pack away snacks when you are parking your stroller. Also, make sure you are taking any and all valuables with you!

Never mind unattended snacks. I think that’s fair game! My father-in-law bought a funnel cake and as he turned away from the kiosk a duck leapt up and snatched it out of his hands!
Our trip this past March we say a squirrel root around and make off with an apple from the bottom of someone’s stroller at Epcot.. he had a bit of a struggle with it, and then the seagulls took an interest, but he chased them off.. he was still working on transporting it off a bit (with stops for a bite here and there) when we wandered off.. at least he got something.. healthy?? 🙂
I was in World Showcase during a backstage tour years ago when we saw a squirrel run into a shop in Italy and drag a bag of candy out. He abandoned it when our tour guide walked toward him, but you have to admire his audacity.
