It’s July, and you know what that means? It’s time to start thinking about Christmas!
Christmas at Magic Kingdom
The holiday season will be here in just a few months, and if you’re heading to Disney World during those months at the end of the year, you’ll want to know what’s available for your trip. Well, Disney just dropped some news for the holidays, including an update on Disney Starlight!
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is a NEW nighttime parade that’s premiering later this month in Magic Kingdom. The parade is currently scheduled to show twice a night starting July 20th, and it features all-new floats with many fan-favorite characters.

In its holiday announcements, Disney has confirmed that this parade will continue to run through the holiday season; however, it will NOT run on nights that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place. Typically, that party offers its own nighttime parade — Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.

So if you’re heading to Magic Kingdom during your trip, you may want to plan an extra day to visit the park outside of the party, that way you can experience this offering! In addition to the parade, there will be plenty of holiday offerings in Magic Kingdom, like special decorations, the Frozen Holiday Surprise show, and the Jingle Cruise ride overlay.
