CONFIRMED: One of the BEST Parts of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Is Returning!

Is it too early to start talking about the most wonderful time of the year? It’s not our fault, Disney’s already talking about EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, and now we’re excited!

One thing that we wish more people knew about at Disney is the Voices of Liberty; we LOVE them! They’re an amazing group of singers that you’ll find at the American Pavilion. They sing iconic American songs, absolutely captivating their audience with an outstanding performance. On top of that, the Voices of Liberty also perform during the holiday season — and we have some news for you!

The Voices of Liberty perform during EPCOT’s popular and stunning Christmas show, the Candlelight Processional. Now you have the chance to be a part of it — and no, we are not pulling your leg! Disney is now hosting auditions to join the Voices of Liberty ensemble for the holiday season!

Disney posted that “Disney Live Entertainment is actively seeking submissions from Ensamble Vocalists for the holiday cast of The Voices of Liberty for The Candelight Processional.” If you’re wanting to be a part of something like this, you can visit Disney Auditions for more details.

They’re singing Christmas carols!

On the Disney Auditions site, you’ll find helpful information on the audition process — including the songs to audition with, video upload information, and general requirements. How cool would it be to be a part of something like this!?

The audition is specifically to be a part of the “eight-part vocal ensemble [singing] in tight harmonies as part of a mass choir and orchestra which retells the story of Christmas, narrated by a celebrity guest in EPCOT.” Anyone who is brought on board to be a part of the show will have contracts running from November to December. It’s really more of a part-time gig to provide a BIG opportunity!

On the other hand, this means that Disney is confirming that the Candlelight Processional is BACK! Obviously, the show has been a big part of the festival for a long time, so we weren’t expecting anything different. That being said, we’re just excited they’re talking about it!

As far as the rest of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays, Disney hasn’t released any other information around it. This is understandable considering that we’re a long way away, and the Food and Wine Festival news just started to drop!

What we do know is that the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is that it’s full of activities, sights, sounds, smells, and lots of food and beverages from around the world. There will be storytellers who talk about holidays around the world, Holiday Kitchens representing various cultural dishes from around the world, and so much more!
