With prices constantly going up at Disney World, it’s only going to keep getting more expensive. With that in mind, we’re taking a closer look at how expensive Drinking Around the World actually is, so you can consider if it’s something you want to pursue the next time you find yourself at EPCOT.

Let’s put the high price into perspective: Say we purchased every single drink that we’ve got listed in our free Drinking Around the World guide (which has ONE drink recommended for each country, PLUS a drink recommendation for The Outpost, so TWELVE drinks total).

On average, purchasing each of these drinks is gonna cost you around a whopping $180 per person.

To put that MORE in perspective for ya, this is around the SAME PRICE that it’d cost TWO adults to go have a signature meal over at Cinderella’s Royal Table in Magic Kingdom (before gratuities, of course). Now, you don’t have to go and spend that much money when you drink around the world. There are absolutely ways that you can save and still accomplish this goal.

You can share drinks, so if you and a friend BOTH want to try this challenge, you each only have to worry about paying for HALF of them. Another tip is to look at menus ahead of time to figure out which drinks are the most affordable at each location.

An odd tip — but hear us out — is to go to Target beforehand. This may seem like a weird suggestion, but when you’re visiting Target before your trip — AND you’re part of Target’s Red Card membership program — you can stock up on Disney gift cards and receive 5% off your gift card purchase. These gift cards can be used to pay for MOST of your drinks around EPCOT, too!

And there you have it. There are small ways to save your money when Drinking Around the World, as well as managing your money better, but it’s always going to cost ya, and chances are the price will just keep going up each year.
