When it comes to dining reservations in Disney World, we’ve tried all kinds of hacks!
From last-minute bookings and Walk-Up Waitlists to using outside websites to snag those sit-down meals, we’ve got quite a few tips. But now, there’s a new partnership that could be a GAME CHANGER for dining reservations in Disney World.
Uber and OpenTable have announced a new partnership to change the way “people discover, reserve, and travel to their favorite restaurants.” The new partnership combines Uber’s delivery network with OpenTable’s trusted reservation platform to create a new one-stop shop.
This new dining offering will be available to millions of people in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, and Australia, and it will roll out in late 2025.
The Uber Eats app will now have a “Dine Out” feature where you can find the perfect reservation. Uber One members will get priority at some of the most premier dining locations in town.
And if you book via OpenTable, you can get a discount on the Uber ride to your restaurant. Also, members of OpenTable’s loyalty program will be getting more ways to use their points, with the ability to put them towards Uber and Uber Eats.
Finally, they’ve announced that, “In select markets, OpenTable VIPs can enjoy a complimentary six-month Uber One membership — that means $0 Delivery Fee on Uber Eats, access to exclusive perks, and more.” More information about this partnership will be released in the future, so keep watching for more announcements from Uber Eats and OpenTable.
If you’re heading to Disney World, we love using the OpenTable website to snag reservations at several non-Disney-owned restaurants. You can find many locations in Disney Springs on that website, and sometimes there’s reservation availability that you can’t get through the My Disney Experience app. You can also book some reservations before that typical 60-day window, which is AMAZING!!
We’ll be on the lookout for more information on this partnership. And if you’re heading to Disney World soon, check out the list of top hotel restaurants in the video below!
