Our Hollywood Studios evenings are usually filled with rides on Slinky Dog Dash, eating fun ice cream by the Tower of Terror, and rounding off the night with a showing of Fantasmic!. This summer, there’s a day when our evening adventures will be cut short!
We keep an eye on all the park hours at Disney World so you can best plan your vacation, and we noticed on a random night this summer, the Hollywood Studios hours are drastically different.
On August 16th, Hollywood Studios will be closing at 6 PM. If you’re planning on coming to the parks around that date, you might need to rearrange your schedule!
When parks close early, they can sometimes be emptier than usual during the day. We’ve seen this with events like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. If you don’t have the Park Hopper option to jump over to another park, most guests would rather have a whole park day when they’re paying per ticket.
If you have the Park Hopper add-on, you might want to consider visiting Hollywood Studios in the morning and then heading over to EPCOT or Magic Kingdom, which are open until 9 PM and 10 PM, respectively.
Really want that full day at Hollywood Studios? You’ll want to switch around what day you go to each park to make sure you get all the hours you need to ride attraction after attraction and get that snack you’ve been thinking about for months.
Here are all the park hours on August 16th, 2025:
- Magic Kingdom: 9 AM to 10 PM
- EPCOT: 9 AM to 9 PM
- Hollywood Studios: 9 AM to 6 PM
- Animal Kingdom: 8 AM to 6 PM
We’ll be keeping an eye on the schedule to see if anything changes, but in the meantime, make sure you’re following Disney Food Blog for all the Disney news you need for your upcoming vacation.
