It feels like we’ve been talking about it for months (well, because we have been), but two new shows are opening in Hollywood Studios on May 27th.
The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure and Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After both debut on May 27th, and while we can’t go inside just yet, we can see new changes made to the outside of one theater.
As you enter Animation Courtyard, look to the left and you’ll see The Little Mermaid theater! Before it was a musical adventure and was the Voyage of The Little Mermaid, there was a huge sign with Ariel and King Triton.
This sign has been gone for a while, but now we can see new queue signs!
The standby queue with the next showing listed and the Lightning Lane entrance has been added.
Shows will run throughout the day between 9:15 AM and 7:15 PM, and we’re so glad to see more entertainment offerings available later in the evening. Shows like Beauty and the Beast—Live on Stage and Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular usually end around 4:30 and 5:00, so having an evening show is incredible.
Fan-favorite songs like “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl” will be in the show, with even more songs!
We’re ready to grab our mermaid tails and get “Under the Sea” stuck in our heads all day and in the meantime, make sure you’re following Disney Food Blog for all the latest Disney news.
