The time has come! Disney World is starting to feel a little spooky after this announcement.
We love Disney’s holiday offerings, and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is coming back this year, and we have all the details.
The after-hours party will run on select nights from August 15th to October 31st. You can start purchasing tickets on May 22nd, and keep in mind that early and end dates typically sell out sooner. Guests typically love going as close to Halloween as possible to get more holiday and fall vibes, and others love to be there early to get special merchandise and snacks.
Party Dates:
- August: 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29
- September:. 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30
- October: 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16, 17, 19, 23, 24, 26, 28, 30, 31
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a paid after-hours event with special parades, characters, trick-or-treating experiences, and even special fireworks. This event brings out characters in rare costumes and even some spooky ride overlays.
While tickets can be purchased on May 22nd, guests staying at select Disney World Resorts, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green can purchase them earlier, on May 15th. Discounts will also be available for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.
Guests can enter the park at 4:00 PM without any additional park ticket, which is three hours before the party kicks off at 7:00 PM. They usually run from 7:00 to midnight, so you’ll have plenty of time to catch all the offerings.
For the 2025 parties, here’s what we know is officially coming back for you to experience:
Exclusive Character Greetings
You can meet Sally and Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas! This is a very popular (and rare!) meet and greet so if this is your priority, be prepared for a long line.
For the first time, Mickey and Minnie will be at Town Square Theater meeting together in their Halloween costumes.
While those are the only two confirmed meet and greets, there are typically a lot of other characters throughout the park, and we’ve been warned that “you may see new and returning Disney Villains appear as you creep by through the streets.”
Trick or Treating
All guests, even the group’s adults, can trick or treat around Magic Kingdom! You’ll receive a themed bag to put your candies in, and with over a dozen treat trails, your bag will be filled with M&Ms, Snickers, Starburst, and more.
Even guests with food allergies can trick or treat! At each stop, they’ll receive a teal token, which you can redeem for allergy-free candy at the Allergy-Friendly Centers.
Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade
This is some people’s favorite parade from Disney, and it’s for good reason. Grave Diggers from the Haunted Mansion slash a shovel on the ground to create sparks, and even the ballroom dancers make it onto the parade. Other characters like Pain & Panic from Hercules and Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph will also join the party.
This year, there will be one showing at 8:15 PM, so make sure you pick out a spot early because viewing spots will fill up quickly.
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular
Catch this show on the castle’s stage as the Sanderson Sisters take over! Other famous Disney villains will help the group as they try to cast a spell.
Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular
Jack Skellingtom (which is one of the neatest puppets you’ll see) welcomes guests to listen to his spooky story as projections cast on the castle and fireworks fly overhead.
There will also be dance parties, special treats, and merchandise for the party!
We’re so glad that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary is back, and we’re ready to grab our candy bags and start planning our costumes. Keep following Disney Food Blog for more details on this party and more holiday offerings.
