A new experience is coming to EPCOT, and it’s coming with a heavy price tag.
If you’ve always wanted to dine inside Spaceship Earth, sip delectable cocktails, and munch on beautiful food, a new lounge is opening June 4th.
The full menu and prices for GEO-82, the Spaceship Earth Lounge, have been released. While we already got a sneak peek at the food and drinks, we can now see the cost.
There are five different small bite options, including:
- Chef’s Selection of Artisanal Cheeses, Cured Meats, and Accompaniments — $29
- Cannellini Hummus — $14
- Funghi Flatbread — $15
- Truffled Ahi Tuna — $23
- Jumbo Lump Crab Gâteau — $25
That means the hummus dish is the cheapest at $14, and the most expensive is $29! Remember, these are just small bites, too.
While Oga’s Cantina, the Star Wars-themed bar in Hollywood Studios, is not adults-only, we can’t directly compare. However, their snacks or small bites range from $12 to $22, with the average being around $15. The average for GEO-82 is $21.
Since this is a bar, we have to talk about the drinks! The featured cocktails sound incredible, but that beauty also comes with a price.
The cocktails include:
- Caramelized Leek Martini — $26
- Strawberry — Black Pepper Sour — $25
- Brown Butter Old-Fashioned — $28
- Peach Shrub Whisky Smash — $26
- Strawberry and Coconut ‘Right Hand’ — $25
- Electron — $23
- Clarified New York Sour — $26
- Brûlée Banana Highball — $26
- High Brow Batanga — $25
The drinks range from $23 to $28, averaging around $25. At Oga’s, the drinks range from $18 to $22.50, not including specialty cups you get to take home. Their average is around $19.
There’s also an Exclusive Disney Select Bourbon Flight, which costs $45 and allows you to try four different types of Bourbon. Wine selections by the glass and bottle, and a few types of beer will be available, as well.
If you want to do the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience, which will allow you to watch Luminous: The Symphony of Us with even more specialty drinks and desserts inside the lounge, it will cost $179 per person. Unlike other fireworks dessert parties like one in Magic Kingdom for Happily Ever After, which ranges from $119 to $129 depending on the date, at GEO-82, you get to sit down, be in the air conditioning, and have different alcoholic drinks.
Yes, those are some hefty price tags, but let’s talk about the whole experience.
GEO-82 is the first adults-only lounge at Disney World, which can turn the experience into a date night for parents or a kid-free zone, but those who might want to escape the chaos of the parks.
The atmosphere is also inspired by the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of Spaceship Earth. Disney describes it as a way to “elevate your day” and “discover a sophisticated hideaway nestled within the iconic geodesic sphere.” It sounds fancy, formal, and a truly exclusive event.
While we might not visit GEO-82 every time we go to EPCOT, we’ll have to try it to see if it’s worth the price tag, so you can plan your next trip. Keep following Disney Food Blog for all of your Disney news.

This will crash and burn just like the $5,000 a night hotel they tried.
Don’t be so sure!
It will be nice to have another refuge from screaming children. The prices are OK as it will also reduce crown size.
This will be a huge hit despite the pricing. To have an adults only environment, climate controlled in an iconic setting with great views, it likely will be difficult to get into. The fireworks price is high, but to have that setting and easily be the first to the monorail after the show has ended is desirable. Sign me up.
This is expensive, definitely. That being said, I’m here for it. I would definitely try it once. I would welcome a peaceful end to the evening for a special occasion. It certainly wouldn’t be a regular thing. There aren’t any places in Disney that are kid free and I totally understand that. But it doesn’t mean there can’t be. I remember when these show packages were $99. Those days are loonnggg gone! 😂
Nothing says Disney and family more than even more locations serving booze!! This place, Pirates and more. Who the heck thinks thinks this is a good idea???? 6 years ago I witnessed a family beating another up in Magic Kingdom!! Enough!!
This sounds great in theory and a great place to have an afternoon snack or a nightcap. However Epcot really? Epcot has so many great food options this would do well at Hollywood or magic kingdom when you need a break from the crowds. But I would still try it.
Initially very interested in checking out GEO-82, but not at those prices. So disappointing as WDW continues to increase margins faster than Buzz Lightyear.
It is a novelty, just like Space 220. I waited for months to get into that and found it a mediocre restaurant with a sadly designed dining room. Looking out to “space” from its windows was a complete disappointment. Sad, as it has a lot of potential if done right. GEO 82’s $179 price tag to watch fireworks is overblown. I would like to go there to see what the view is from the lounge. From what I know of the layout of Epcot, I can’t see a good view of the fireworks from that location. At least this lounge is not restricted to Disney’s new elite group: Vacation Club members!
Extortionate prices. No thanks!
Would like to try it. My daughter is 18, an adult in the UK, but does she have to be 21 to get in?
When there is a place to relax without screaming kids people will pay the price. And I will be one.
Hi Nicky! Yes, the laws still apply to legal drinking ages here so your daughter would not be able to enter at 18.
I’m just glad that apparently it will be a place that takes reservations. There are lots of other options that are family friendly and have different price points at EPCOT especially. IMO The lounge is the best part of Space 220, and when we were last there, it still drew a good crowd. The worst experiences we’ve ever had at the parks had nothing to do with people who were drinking or had any signs that they had been. It’s true that Walt did not want alcohol in the parks, but family culture was very different in his time. Even teenagers were generally relegated to their rooms by 9 or 10 p.m. (and much earlier for younger children), families dined out together much less often, and the entire world was extremely different. I’d like to think that there are ways that even Walt would have moved with the times and realized the realities of competition, and I don’t think he would have bregrudged guests without children also wanting to enjoy the parks. I think he would be far more disappointed in plenty of guest behaviors and choices that have nothing to do with alcohol.
Oh – and the drink prices in the article are only some of the prices for drinks. There are also mocktails, beer, and wine (and I’m sure soft drinks and water if you asked) that are available at lower prices. These are actually fairly normal lounge prices for WDW and even some places outside WDW. These compare to the more upscale places where I live, which is pretty middle of the road in terms of cost of living.
