CONFIRMED: Epic Universe Releases Opening Day Park Hours

Epic Universe, Universal Orlando’s newest theme park, is opening in less than a month (!!!), and we’ve been collecting all the details for you so you can have the most epic day ever (pun intended).

Universal just dropped a MAJOR detail we’ve been anxiously awaiting for the first day of opening — and beyond!

The park hours for Epic Universe have been released and will operate from 9 AM to 9 PM on May 22nd, opening day. That’s twelve whole hours of incredible fun.

Ice Dragon at Isle of Berk

For the entire month of May, Epic will be open from 9 AM to 9 PM. The park hasn’t revealed what the hours will look like for the rest of the year, but this gives us a pretty good idea of what Universal is planning.

Celestial Park

Early Park Admission for those staying at a Universal hotel will get you into the park at 8 AM, but not on opening day, May 22nd. No Early Park Admission will be available that day according to the calendar, but it will be available for the rest of the month.

Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry

Not every attraction will be available during Early Park Entry, but Epic has some fun rides to kick off your morning, including:

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
Yoshi’s Adventure
Mine-Cart Maddness
Stardust Racers

You’ll want to head straight to Super Nintendo World to make the most of your morning! This is a great way to grab a few extra rides before they’re open to the general public.

Everyone else will have to wait a little longer, but during annual passholder previews, guests are let into the park after security and ticket checks, to do some shopping at the main stores and queue up in front of your dream portal.
