A Delta Flight carrying 200 people caught fire on April 21st, 2025.

The plane was located at Orlando International Airport, and no initial injuries were reported. Delta has addressed the incident, saying, “We appreciate our customers’ cooperation and apologize for the experience. Nothing is more important than safety, and Delta teams will work to get our customers to their final destinations as soon as possible.”
The Delta Airplane that caught fire at MCO resulted in no injuries, according to ClickOrlando. It was Flight 1213, and it was headed to Atlanta, Georgia, before the fire broke out. The fire began on the tail pipe of one of the two engines. You can see the photos of the fire here.

The passengers on board, along with the 10 flight attendants and 2 pilots, were all evacuated safely. Videos can be seen of the evacuation process as well as the fire.

After the evacuation, the passengers were brought into the terminal where they were given food and drinks. The airline promised to provide another plane to get those on board to their destination. Orlando International Airport, also known as MCO, released a statement saying, “The fire was contained and is out. Some passengers were evacuated via an emergency slide.”
