We’re finally getting the opportunity to stay at the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, located INSIDE Epic Universe. We are staying in a How to Train Your Dragon-themed room!

Universal Helios Grand Hotel

The hotel officially opened on April 16th, and today, April 17th, marks the first day of ticketed previews for Epic Universe. We have our preview tickets in hand and a room booked at Helios Grand Hotel, so now it’s time to take a look at one of our FAVORITE features of this hotel — the exclusive entrance that hotel guests will have to get into Epic Universe!

Staying at Universal’s Helios Grand Hotel has lots of perks, including getting some spectacular views of the park itself right from your room, but one of the biggest perks is that you have your OWN entrance to the park!

Exclusive Entrance

This entrance can only be used by guests staying at the Helios Grand Hotel and is perfect for when you’re using your early entry perk. This way, you’re further into the park than other guests coming through the front gate. The entrance lets you out into Celestial Park, but on the other side of the park than the actual entrance. The entrance from Helios Grand Hotel is nestled between Dark Universe and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

Entering into Epic Universe

Early Entry began at 10 AM this morning, with security at the exclusive entrance beginning at about 9:10 AM this morning. People were lined up as early as 7 AM, and we got in line at about 8:30 AM. By 9:55 AM, we were in the park and ready to start our day! The exclusive entrance made getting into the park a breeze.

Currently, only Stardust Racers and Super Nintendo World are open for Early Park Entry. However, that still includes four attractions available before the park opens for normal guests: Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge, Yoshi’s Adventure™, Mine-Cart Madness™, and Stardust Racers.
