We Are One Step Closer To Seeing These Iconic Characters in Disneyland!

We are one step closer to getting to meet characters from Fantastic Four at Disneyland Resort!

While we already knew that Fantastic Four characters would be making their way to Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park, we recently spotted a casting call, which means we are getting closer to their official debut.

Back in March, Disney announced that guests would be able to meet Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, H.E.R.B.I.E., and Ben Grimm in Tomorrowland. These characters are appearing to celebrate the release of Fantastic Four: First Step on July 25th, 2025.

We recently spotted a casting call for Reed Richards, also known as Mister Fantastic, and Johnny Storm, also known as the Human Torch. Disney is looking for a 5’11”-6’1″ look-alike for Reed Richards and a 5’8.5″-5’10” look-alike for Johnny Storm.

The characters will be there for a limited time. They will appear each day in “character greetings before thousands of guests, signing autographs, posing for pictures, and helping to create magical moments with guests of all ages.”

Disney hasn’t released an official date for the Fantastic Four characters’ debut, but we expect they will arrive sometime around the release of the brand-new movie. If you think you would be the perfect Mister Fantastic or Human Torch, you can submit your application online by April 30th, 2025.

We can’t wait to meet the Fantastic Four characters, including H.E.R.B.I.E.! Disney Imagineering is creating a real-life H.E.R.B.I.E., also known as Humanoid Experimental Robot B-Type Integrated Electronics. This flying robot assists the Fantastic Four as they protect Earth; we can’t wait to see what it looks like!
