Disney is no longer going to be using the 21st Century Fox studio lots.
According to Deadline, sources have said that Disney will be leaving the 21st Century Fox lot by the end of 2025, before their lease ends in March 2026.
This lot is located in West Los Angeles, and Disney is focusing on solidifying its operations in Burbank.

The Disney/Fox merger, which occurred in 2019, closed with a $71.3 billion deal. This is one of the largest in media history.
Fox rents out its fifteen sound stages and other facilities to make about $50 million a year, and with Disney leaving these lots, Fox has the potential to generate more revenue from leasing.

What does this mean in terms of content? Disney owns 21st Century Fox, and that deal is still in play, but Disney won’t be using their studio lots or resources. Disney only owns the 21st Century Fox part of the company and not the other assets under Fox Corporation, per Deadline.

We’re still expecting to see our favorite Fox shows on Disney+ and have no reason to believe production won’t continue on new shows — they just might be filmed somewhere else. However, we’ll be keeping our eye on this to see if any changes happen.
