April Fool’s Day is around the corner, and that means we’ll be on high alert for any potential jokes that could hit us from any angle.

We’re not sure if Disney has anything up their sleeves, but we did just hear that a certain convenience store already has a joke ready, and we won’t lie…we’re scared.

7-Eleven has just announced that its limited-edition April Fools’ Month Mystery Donut is making a return at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations throughout April.

Customers will be invited to guess the mystery flavor, but here’s the catch — it’s not guaranteed to be something good. In fact, it could, and there’s a good chance it will be something strange. It’s a Bismark-style donut, so what’s hiding inside is truly a secret until you take a bite.

Senior Vice President of Fresh Foods at 7-Eleven, Inc., Brandon Brown, said, “Every April, we like to add a little mischief to our bakery offerings with the Mystery Donut as an unexpected twist that’s all about surprising our customers in the spirit of April Fool’s Day. It may seem like a prank, but it’s no joke! This mystery donut is hitting stores, offering a fun and unexpected treat to shake up your day!” Oh, we don’t doubt that it’ll shake up our day, but we’re a little nervous as to what that could look like! If you’re feeling brave, you have from April 1st through April 29th to roll the dice and try a mystery donut. Good luck!
