One of the best parts of Animal Kingdom is exploring the different paths, which always make us feel like safari guides in the jungle.
A path we love to take by the Tree of Life is now closed, so we’ll have to reroute our treks for a bit.
The gorgeous winding path that leads around the Tree of Life to Asia is now closed!
This month, the Tree of Life’s show, It’s Tough to be a Bug (which is actually inside the tree, which is very cool), closed down to make way for the new Zootopia show, which might be why this path is closed.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether is taking over and “will take guests on an adventure through different biomes seen in the film.” Characters like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more will be part of the 3D show.
Walls block this path and paths all along the Tree of Life, and construction signs with different quotes are throughout the area. Our favorite sign is a quote from Kevin the bird that just says “squawwk!” Kevin puts it so well, doesn’t she?
If this is your normal path, it might be a great time to explore a new way. There’s a lot of construction happening at Animal Kingdom, but we love that this gives us new places to discover. It’s called Discovery Island for a reason!
You might also want to visit the Tree of Life and look a little closer to see the beautiful carvings. There are tons of animals, and we feel like we see new ones every time we look.
Did you know that there’s also a hidden rope bridge in Animal Kingdom? If you take the left pathway when you enter the park, you can walk over the bridge and enter a rock cave. It provides great views and is just overall fun.
