Universal Orlando‘s newest resort has officially opened!

Terra Luna Resort

Terra Luna Resort, the sister resort to Stella Nova (which opened a few months ago), is now open. Both resorts sit adjacent to the brand-new Universal Orlando theme park, Epic Universe, which is set to open on May 22nd, 2025. We are here checking out everything Terra Luna has to offer, including the new bar, Luna Bar! Come along with us!

There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat or a drink at the Terra Luna Resort. Here, you can find Omega Cafe and Market, Moonrise Bar and Grill, pizza delivery right to your room, and, of course, cocktails at Luna Bar.

Luna Bar has the “idea of ‘Earth and Light’ in mind,” and you can find it in the lobby. The menu features craft cocktails that are “curated with unique ingredients.” You can also order classic cocktails along with beer and wine.

When we walked in, we immediately noticed how bright and welcoming the area seemed, which we really loved! There’s also plenty of seating in between the bar seats and the comfortable seating is just steps away from the bar.

Here is a look at the menu, which has twelve different drinks, all with names inspired by space or the cosmos!

After looking at the menu, we decided to try the LUNA for $18. This is made with Weber Ranch 1902 Vodka shaken with Braulio, Patrón XO Cafe, cold-brewed espresso, and simple syrup, dusted with bittersweet chocolate and a mist of spearmint oil.

If you love espresso martinis, this will be right up your alley! It’s very coffee forward, so the main flavor is that bitterness from the espresso, but there is a hint of sweet from the simple syrup.

It is important to note that the spearmint is sprayed all over the glass, so it’s the first thing you smell, which does play up the bitterness of the espresso and bittersweet chocolate in a way that really works for us. This is their signature drink here at the bar, and we can certainly see why!

Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Terra Luna’s Luna Bar and think it is a solid addition to this brand-new hotel. We will be checking out everything at Terra Luna as well as Epic Universe when the park opens, so make sure to stay tuned with us here at DFB!
