We are checking out the newest Universal Orlando hotel!

Universal’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, is set to open on May 22nd, 2025, marking a massive expansion of Universal in Orlando! Along with Epic Universe, Universal built three brand-new resorts, so we are checking out Terra Luna Resort and taking you along with us. 

Universal Terra Luna Resort officially opened on March 25th, 2025, so we’re headed inside the new resort to check it out! This new hotel, which is a sister resort with Stella Nova Resort, was inspired by the thrill of exploring the unknown and pushing the limits of discovery, according to Universal.

This resort draws its inspiration from planets and terrain around our own solar system, which is super neat! Terra Luna is a Prime Value Resort Hotel that focuses on affordable rates for guests. Hotel amenities include a feature pool, fitness center, game room, recreation room, a Universal store, and more!

Is Staying at Universal’s NEW Terra Luna Hotel Worth It? We Found Out!

You’ll also get the usual Universal perks, such as early park admission and complimentary transportation, along with its super-close proximity to the Epic Universe.

The first place we checked out was the lobby! It was so alive! The Team Members greeted each guest as they entered by cheering and clapping. They even had robots on stilts, what more can you ask for? Throughout the day, as we explore the resort, we’ll also check out the amenities, rooms, and places to dine.

After we browsed the lobby, it was time to eat!

FULL TOUR of the Rooms at Universal’s NEW Terra Luna Hotel 

This resort offers four different dining and drinking spots! Omega Cafe and Market offers American classics at this quick-service dining option, as well as a selection of grab-and-go items for all three meals.

In the lobby, you’ll find Luna Bar, where you can get a cocktail, beer, or wine!

This is a lovely space to grab a drink. There’s plenty of comfortable seating, and the menu has some fun cocktails!

REVIEW: We Tried The NEW Luna Bar at Universal’s Terra Luna Hotel! 

Moonrise Grill is available poolside, where you can grab a drink and enjoy burgers, quesadillas, and salads. Moonrise Bar is at the same spot with a full-service bar, plus wine and beer.

Speaking of lounging by the pool, let’s take a look at the pool itself!

The pool here at Terra Luna is HUGE, but we have a feeling that it will be busy this summer! There’s also a hot tub if you want to soak in the water after a long day at Epic Universe.

Make sure to stop by the Universal Studios Store during your visit!

We spotted all kinds of Universal merchandise, including some items from the NEW Harry Potter and the Ministry of Magic land in Epic Universe.

This hotel also has a fitness center if you’re in the mood for a little workout on vacation!

Finally, here’s a peek at the bus stop. This will come in handy if you plan on visiting all three Universal Orlando theme parks! The bus will take you to Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk.
