Coronado Springs doesn’t make a pimple on Wilderness Lodge’s derriere. Also, you severely handicapped Wilderness Lodge by tethering it to the below “Value” level campground of Fort Wilderness. Coronado Springs is so far out, and the internal bus route to get anywhere is packed so badly that, depending on your stop, you may not get on the bus for your destination for a couple of stops, not unlike waiting through several red lights at a heavily trafficked intersection. Additionally, being able to work while on vacation should be a negative, not a positive attribute. I don’t quite know what you’re thinking, or maybe you had just been having a moment of extreme confusion, but you missed the mark on this one. From my fairly well Disney World-experienced point of view, it comes down to Wilderness Lodge vs Yacht Club, and that’s only because of Yacht Club’s proximity to Epcot. Wilderness Lodge theming and peaceful ambiance are hands-down better than Yacht Club, and the Lodge is a nice, easy boat ride from Magic Kingdom. Between those two, it’s a toss-up, differentiable only based on the mood I’m in when I book.
My all time favorite is The Contemporary!!! I stayed there the year it opened and I’ve stayed there several more times! I love the monorail going through the lobby. I love Chef Mickey’s!!! I love that is so close to Magic Kingdom, too!
Very curious why Riverside and French Quarter got lost with values in this segment. I liked your description but really these moderates for many are not comparable to All Stars in any way. Just my opinion haha!
