There’s never a shortage of choices when it comes to food at Downtown Disney in Anaheim, how can you choose what to go with?

Well here at DFB, we love to keep you updated on all the eats and treats that Disney and beyond have to offer (our stomachs also love to). We just checked out the latest snack from Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Downtown Disney, and we’re sharing our thoughts!

Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs is a cute little stand located in Downtown Disney that sells, you guessed it, corn dogs. We recently stopped by to try their Guacamole Corn Dog, which off the bat sounds and looks delicious!

What is it? It’s homemade guacamole coated with tortilla chips, deep fried, and drizzled with savory garlic sauce, served with a bag of chips. Sounds nice, right? And, all this for $10. Wait — a corn dog variation for $10? Let’s see if it’s worth it.

In all honesty, it was actually a pretty good deal for $10. When you take that first bite you get a nice crunchy texture followed by the warm and soft cornbread. The garlic sauce on top had a decent kick to it. So if you aren’t a fan of spicy things, it might take you by surprise.

The downside is that inside, there wasn’t as much guac as we thought there’d be. There was a bit of that creamy and refreshing flavor, but the spicy garlic took away from the guac flavor quite a bit. That was a little disappointing but definitely doesn’t make this a bad snack option. So again, if you aren’t a fan of spicy foods, we’d probably advise you to go with something else.

We’d probably get this again, to be honest! It was a pretty good deal for what you get and it’s a very unique snack. When you hear “corn dog” you probably think of a traditional corn dog, or at least a variation with a hot dog in the center. However, it was a pleasant surprise to be biting down on a corn dog just filled with guac. If you’re in the Downtown Disney area in Anaheim, give this a try.
