3 Curfews Epic Universe Is Enforcing in 2025

We’re only a few months away from the grand opening of Universal Orlando’s NEW theme park, Epic Universe.

Epic Universe is going to be, well, EPIC, and will have five NEW themed lands that we can’t wait to wander around in. You’ll get to visit an original location, Celestial Park, which will have portals to the other four lands: How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, and Super Nintendo World. But if you’ll be visiting Epic Universe, you’re going to have to know something very important: what times things will close.

That’s right, you’ll basically have a curfew in Epic Universe, as well as at the restaurants at the Epic Universe hotels, so let’s talk about those closing times that we know (or can guess) so far.

Epic Universe Hours

So we don’t yet have the exact hours for Epic Universe, but looking at the April 2025 calendar for both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, we see that the hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM for both parks. We’re going to go out on a limb here and say we expect Epic Universe’s hours to be about the same.

Now, granted, Universal could surprise us and have an earlier opening for Epic Universe and even have it open later than the other theme parks (especially since we’re sure they’re going to want to show off that fancy nighttime lighting in Celestial Park), but for now, the hours for this park will probably be the same as the other two parks.

Cosmos Cafe and Market Hours

Now that Universal Stella Nova is open, we can also know what the hours are for the restaurants there. We spoke with a Team Member at Universal who told us that the hours for Cosmos Cafe and Market are from 7 AM to 11 PM, giving you a chance to grab breakfast before you hit Epic Universe.

You’ll also be able to grab dinner or a snack at Cosmos Cafe and Market after you leave Epic Universe, so that will come in handy.

Galaxy Bar and Galaxy Grill Hours

That same Team Member also told us Galaxy Bar and Galaxy Grill would be open from 5 PM to 11 PM, although we think he might have been referring to Galaxy Bar. We expect Galaxy Grill to be open a little earlier, but we don’t have confirmation of that.

However, that means you will be able to grab a drink and a bite to eat at this location for a few hours after Epic Universe closes, too.

We Tried the NEW Galaxy Bar and Grill at Universal’s Stella Nova Hotel

Knowing when everything closes will help you plan out your day in Epic Universe, but it will also help you decide if you want to wait and grab a late dinner at your hotel, too (or breakfast before the day begins).

Note that if you are wanting to be out even later, Universal’s CityWalk is open until 1 AM, so you can get some nightlife in if that’s your thing (or grab a late snack or dinner).
