It is almost time for general registration to open for the 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! Spaces usually fill up VERY fast, so mark your calendars now if you want to participate.

General registration for the 2026 Disney World Marathon Weekend officially opens on March 11th, 2025, at 10 AM ET. You don’t want to be late, or you might miss out on your chance!
The 2026 Disney World Marathon Weekend is from January 7th through January 11th. During the weekend, there are four different races: a 5K, a 10K, a half marathon, and a marathon. You can also choose to participate in the Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge, which means completing BOTH the half marathon and marathon in one weekend.

No matter which race you choose, you will have a blast completing the course, which will take you through Walt Disney World Resort, where you will see various characters and entertainment. Each race is hosted by an iconic Disney character. The 5K is being hosted by Pluto, the 10K by Chip & Dale, the half marathon by Donald & Daisy, and the marathon by Mickey & Minnie.
