Well, it’s happening again: more price increases have arrived in Disney World.
Now, price increases happen often, and we’ve seen it with merchandise, as well as food. In fact, in the fall, Disney World usually has MAJOR price increases for food and drinks, but we see both go up throughout the rest of the year, too. Now, two locations in EPCOT’s China Pavilion are seeing the prices of food and drinks go up. So if you’re planning on visiting the Joy of Tea or Lotus Blossum Cafe, we’re giving you a heads up: it’s going to cost a little more now.
Let’s start with Joy of Tea. Pork Egg Rolls will now cost $5.95, up from $5.75. However, tea and bottled drinks will also cost more:
- Lychee Bubble Tea changed from $7.50 to $7.75
- Jasmine or Oolong Iced Tea changed from $5.25 to $5.75
- Jasmine or Oolong Tea changed from $3.95 to $4.25
- DASANI Bottled Water changed from $3.75 to $4
Dragon Blossom beer has increased from $10 to $10.50. Cocktails at Joy of Tea are also going to be a little more expensive now:
- Kung Fu Punch changed from $13.75 to $13.95
- Honey Hibiscus Hard Iced Tea changed from $12.75 to $13.95
- Lychee Cha Cha changed from $12.75 to $12.95
The price increases at the China Pavilion continue over at Lotus Blossom Cafe. The Pork Egg Rolls there have also gone up from $5.75 to $5.95. Chicken Pot Stickers increased from $7.25 to $7.35. Entrees will also now cost more:
- Orange Chicken Combo changed from $14.75 to $14.95
- Chicken Fried Rice Combo changed from $14.75 to $14.95
- Mongolian Beef Noodle Combo changed from $15.25 to $15.75
Kid’s Meals have also gone up from $10.95 to $11.50. Desserts are also now pricer: Caramel-Ginger Ice Cream went up to $5.35 from $395 and Lychee Ice Cream increased from $3.95 to $5.35. The following beverages also went up in price:
- Assorted Fountain Beverage changed from $4.29 to $4.79
- DASANI Bottled Water changed from $3.75 to $4
- Apple Juice changed from $3 to $3.25
- Lowfat Milk changed from $3 to $3.25
- Hot Oolong Tea changed from $3.95 to $4.25
- Hot Cocoa changed from $3.95 to $4.25
Finally, the following alcoholic beverages will now cost more:
- TsingTao Bottled Beer changed from $10 to $11
- Lucky Foo Pale Ale changed from $9.95 to $10.50
- Honey Jasmine Lager changed from $9.95 to $10.50
If you plan on dining in the China Pavilion in the future, you’ll want to keep these new prices in mind.
