It’s time to MEET THE MUPPETS!

2025 is going to be an interesting year for the Muppets at Walt Disney World, as the characters’ iconic attraction is set to close… only to see them take over one of the resort’s most beloved thrill rides. Therefore it only makes sense that Disney is offering a NEW Muppets MagicBand+.

The band — which is available on the Disney Store — features Kermit as the main central icon, along with Kermit, Ms. Piggy, Animal, and a torrid tropical pattern wrapped around “Muppetational” band.

As is typical for a MagicBand+, this collectible piece can serve all the normal MagicBand functions (including serving as a Walt Disney World and Disneyland entry ticket, checking in at Lightning Lanes, and connecting with PhotoPass) and will react to select Disney theme park attractions with “with lighting effects and gesture recognition.”

Muppet*Vision 3D, the legendary film attraction that was the final project creator Jim Henson worked on before his death, is set to close on June 7th. Along with companion restaurant PizzeRizzo, the film is closing to make way for a new Monsters, Inc. land at Hollywood Studios. However, the characters are moving just across the park to take over the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster.
