It’s certainly no secret that we love FOOD here at DFB, but bread and cheese happen to be two of our favorite food groups (yes, they’re definitely food groups, just trust us on that one.)

Baked Cheesy Biscuits

So when Disney introduces a new snack that combines these two food groups, well, it’s our job to investigate. We’ve been trying quite a few new snacks around Disneyland and the fun isn’t stopping anytime soon. Come with us to try the new Baked Cheesy Biscuits at Royal Street Veranda!

A NEW Disneyland snack has entered the chat. The Baked Cheesy Biscuits at Royal Street Veranda recently debuted and we made a beeline to check them out. For $8.99, you get three cheesy biscuits with sharp cheddar and cajun cheese, brushed with garlic butter. Does it get any better than that? Oh, yes, it does, because you can also add a side of Cajun Cheese Sauce for $1.39.

CHEESY BISCUITS INCOMING

It probably comes as no surprise that we LOVED these. They basically tasted like Cheeze-Its in biscuit form. The biscuit was cooked perfectly in our opinion, and while it was denser than we thought it’d be, it wasn’t dry at all. The cheddar is the strongest flavor here with a bit of garlic in the aftertaste. We didn’t really get too much Cajun flavor from the biscuits themselves, but there was a tiny Cajun spice flavor after some bites.

The sauce was warm and cheesy, adding a sharper cheese flavor to each bite, but it wasn’t overly spicy either. We’d recommend getting the sauce to go with the biscuits as it adds to the flavor and makes the biscuits a bit softer as the sauce gets soaked up.

These may be perfection.
