FIRST LOOK: Disney Hotel Reveals NEW ROOMS

Disney just announced that they will add new décor to guest rooms at Disney’s Grand Californian AND revealed some new details about the themed signature suites coming to Pixar Place Hotel.

Disney’s Grand Californian will be refreshing all of its guest rooms, including bold carpets, upholstery, and bedding, plus new artwork that is being commissioned from local plein air painters. Over at Pixar Place Hotel, Disney revealed more details about two new themed premium suites that will open “new doors into the worlds of Pixar Animation Studio’s Coco and The Incredibles.”

We just got a lot of news about changes coming to Disneyland’s hotels. Not only will Napa Rose be redesigned with a new interior and patio, but there will also be two all-new concierge lounges at Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian. Additionally, Disney’s Grand Californian will be getting new décor, and we have more details about the themed premium suites at Pixar Place Hotel.

At Disney’s Grand Californian, EVERY guest room will be refreshed with new décor to “complement the rooms’ existing Arts & Crafts motif.” The new décor will bring new, bold colors to the carpet, upholstery, and bedding. Accents will also be inspired by California wildflower blooms. Additionally, the rooms will be getting new artwork from local plein air painters. We think this new décor sounds beautiful!

We also got some more details about the new themed premium suites coming to Pixar Place Hotel. The hotel will be adding two new, two-bedroom themed premium suites. These premium suites will take guests into the world of Coco and The Incredibles. The Coco Suite will feature “Oaxacan-style architecture…with terracotta tiling, Mexican artisan quilted and woven pieces, a fireplace, unique handcrafted wooden furniture, and thoughtful touches of hand-painted art.” The suite will be inspired by the Rivera family hacienda and will even include family photos and mementos.

The Incredibles Suite will feature a mid-century design. The primary bedroom is for the Parr parents, with the connecting room being designed by Edna Mode. The entryway will feature a hand-scanning prop and there will be “super-inspired touches and special effects including a spy phone, hidden messages, a secret door” throughout the suite.
