Lunar New Year is HERE, and so is Disneyland’s annual celebration of the holiday! From January 17th to February 16th, guests will be able to enjoy delicious eats, entertainment, merchandise, and more.
The 2025 Lunar New Year Festival is gearing up to be one of the most exciting yet at Disney California Adventure. With so many festival food booths to try, mixed with entertainment offerings, exclusive character meet and greets, and merch you won’t get anywhere else it’s a great time to visit Disneyland. Right now, we’re headed to Longevity Noodle Co. to see what they’re serving up!
Menu
The booth is chock full of new and returning favorites this year, including the returning Garlic Noodles and Shrimp Lo Mein Noodle dishes.
In addition, the booth features two new drinks, plus some celebration-exclusive novelties!
Eats
This year, you can once again the Garlic Noodles with zesty garlic butter sauce and Parmesan cheese, which cost $8.25. When we tried this in the past we enjoyed it, but we weren’t super wowed by it. It’s good, in a way a dish that is basically spaghetti with parmesan and garlic is going to be good, but nothing about it is exceptional. We would definitely recommend it for picky eaters though.
Next up were the Shrimp Lo Mein Noodles, which are served with stir-fried vegetables, and cost $9.25. We loved this dish! It isn’t too spicy, and pairs well with the salty taste of the sauce, creating almost a red pepper flavor mixed with soy sauce. This flavor in turn pairs well with the cabbage, which provides a bright, fresh flavor that really adds some complexity to the dish. The shrimp itself was cooked to perfection, with each piece perfectly covered in seasoning. We’d recommend this to anyone who loves a classic lo mein dish that doesn’t mind a tiny hint of spice.
Now that the food’s out of the way, let’s get to the drinks!
Drinks
One of this year’s new offerings is the Tropical Coconut Cooler. This $8.00 non-alcoholic drink contains coconut cream, coconut milk, house-made jackfruit syrup, dragon fruit syrup, lychee nectar, and cherry juices garnished with mango coconut foam and rainbow jellies.
We weren’t so sure about this one. We tasted a bit of an artificial sweetener aftertaste that was almost fake tasting. We did love the coconut foam, though — we tasted it before it was mixed in and it was not too heavy on the coconut, but if you don’t like coconut flavors, this is not for you. We really wanted to like it, but the more we drank, the less we did. There was a tropical fruitiness from the rest of the flavors, but coconut was the main thing we tasted.
Also new this year is the $19.00 Mandarin Citrus Mule, which features Mandarin vodka, grapefruit liqueur, lime juice, Mandarin and apricot purées, and candied orange syrup topped with ginger beer and garnished with orange rock candy.
The vodka…holy moly…this was definitely a vodka mule! We LOVED the flavors though — it was super sour and full of citrus flavors. This one is going to be popular with those who love sugary sweet drinks! Very refreshing!
The booth also features the Lunar New Year Mickey-shaped Light-Up Straw Clip, with a limit of two per person, per transaction.
Overall
The 2025 installation of the Longevity Noodle Co. is if you’re after those delicious Shrimp Lo Mein noodles we love, or if you’ve got a picky eater who will appreciate the Garlic Noodles! Both cocktails here are on the fruity, tropical, and refreshing side with the Mandarin Citrus Mule being our favorite. Stop by this booth if you’re in the mood for noods and drinks!
