We have an update for you if you are heading to Disney World soon!
Park pass reservations are unavailable at Magic Kingdom for TWO days in October. We have all the details for you, so keep reading!
Currently, October 16th, and 18th no longer have park pass reservations available for theme parks tickets for Magic Kingdom. However, all other parks are available for reservations for theme parks tickets on those days. It is possible that this could be due to people moving around their trip due to Hurricane Milton.
As of January 9th, park pass reservations are no longer required for most guests though. If you have a date-based 1-day ticket, date-based multi-day ticket, or a vacation package with date-based tickets you will not need to make a park pass reservation. Tickets that do require a Park Pass Reservation include student group tickets, sport and convention tickets, Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket, Disney Military Salute Ticket, Annual Passes, and other tickets that were not mentioned as not requiring a reservation.
For annual passholders, only Animal Kingdom is available for a park reservation on October 11th. But all parks are available for Annual Passholders on October 16th and 18th.
However, even if you do need a Park Pass Reservation and don’t have your reservation for Magic Kingdom yet, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to go into the park on those days. As long as you have a park hopper ticket, you can make a reservation for a different park and start there, and then hop over to Magic Kingdom (as long as it remains available for park-hopping, it is very, very unlikely we will see it reach capacity except for major holidays).
These two dates in the middle of October do seem to be odd days for there to be no more Magic Kingdom reservations. It is possible that Magic Kingdom may feel a bit more crowded on these days, but you will still have lots of fun!
