When most people think of Disney World, booze likely isn’t the first thing that comes to mind.
After all, Magic Kingdom was a fully dry park — with no alcohol at all — until not too long ago. But, that has certainly changed in recent years and now, many people like to spend their Disney days imbibing with a cocktail or beer when they’re at the parks. And if you ask us, there’s one place in Disney World where you can find some excellent happy hours — and a new one just joined the block!
There’s a NEW happy hour at Disney Springs! The Edison has launched a new happy hour for folks looking to grab an afternoon cocktail and a few bites. Folks who choose to imbibe can indulge in some of The Edison’s signature appetizers and craft cocktails at lower prices.
Expect options like Fried Pickles, Creamy Spinach Dip, and Electri-Fries, plus a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned, Edison Lager, Frenzy Sauv Blanc, and Strawberry Fields Forever — made with Wheatley Vodka, St. Germain liqueur, honey, lime juice, strawberry, and mint. Count us in!
Happy hour at The Edison runs Sunday through Friday, from 3PM to 6PM.
Not only that, but The Edison has launched a new November cocktail class! The Shaken & Stirred Cocktails Classes give folks the chance to learn how to create cocktails during a hands-on experience with a private bartender.
During the November classes, participants can attend the “Organic & Sustainable” cocktail class on November 9th and “Big Screen Cocktails” on November 23rd. Tickets start at $100 per person and begin at 1PM!
We LOVE hanging out at The Edison and if you’re after a delicious craft cocktail, delicious and inventive eats, and an incredibly cool atmosphere (the restaurant is two stories!!!), we think you might love it, too! Consider stopping by for the new happy hour or even taking a cocktail class.
In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest news from Disney Springs and more!
