Are you ready to set sail with Disney Cruise Line and find your Destiny? (See what we did there?).
The Disney Destiny will have a heroes and villains theme, and will offer four and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. This ship also is a MUST for Marvel fans with five Marvel-themed experiences, as well as an atrium devoted to Black Panther and Wakanda. If you’re ready to seek out your Destiny (yep, we did it again), now is your chance because bookings are available NOW!
Today, September 12th, is the FIRST day of booking for the Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage, as well as some of its future cruise itineraries. Each of the currently available bookings are for 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean with stops at Disney’s private destinations, Castaway Cay or Lighthouse Point, or both.
If you book a cruise aboard the Destiny, you’ll be able to get on a ship that will have a Marvel character, Spider-Man, on its stern — for the FIRST TIME EVER. According to Disney, “this signature larger-than-life sculpture will showcase Spider-Man and his Spider-Bots, who are making a well-meant, if a bit haphazard, attempt at decorating the filigree on the back of the ship with their infamous spider webs.”
The ship will also feature Disney’s rotational dining with some NEW restaurants, including the first ever Lion King-themed dining experience, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. You’ll also be able to enjoy some fun lounges themed around Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Cruella DeVil, Doctor Strange, and more.
The Disney Destiny will also feature a brand NEW story for its Aqua Mouse attraction at sea called AquaMouse: “Sing a Silly Song.” In this attraction, Mickey and Minnie will lead you to the peak of Villain Mountain. While coming face to face with villains like the Queen of Hearts, Chernabog, and Scar, Mickey and Minnie will “employ a silly song — and a bit of pixie dust — to transform each chilling encounter into a wacky surprise.”
We expect bookings to fill up quickly for the maiden voyage, so if you’re interested, you might want to jump on that quickly!
