Opening DATE Revealed for Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Disneyland

Get ready to count down the days — Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in Disneyland soon!

This weekend, Disney hosted the massive D23 Ultimate Fan Event in Anaheim, California. The sprawling convention broke news from across Disney’s spectrum of offerings, including films, television streaming, video games, and parks.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has already opened at Disney World, but Disney had previously only indicated that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would open in 2024 at Disneyland without any official opening date. That left us all wondering — just WHEN would Tiana’s ride open in Disneyland? All the way near the end of the year? In the fall? Well, never fear, friends, Disney FINALLY dropped the date at D23!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will officially open in Disneyland on November 15th! According to Disney, “The Happiest Place on Earth will open their attraction inspired by the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ film The Princess and the Frog on Nov. 15, 2024 (at the start of the Holiday season at Disneyland Resort)! And not only that but Critter Country will be appropriately renamed Bayou Country when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens.”

Disney extrapolated further on the land transformation, explaining that “Bayou Country is situated on the edge of New Orleans Square with shady trees, mesmerizing music, and a vast collection of enchanting surprises. Guests will discover a land filled with friendly woodland animals, from a trumpet-playing gator and an adorable bear who craves honey to a musical cast of bears, frogs, and other critters.”

Following its opening at Walt Disney World earlier this year, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open November 15, 2024 at Disneyland park in the newly renamed Bayou Country.

While on this adventure, you’ll be able to see an animatronic version of Tiana in her NEW look.

You’ll also see animatronics of Louis and the “critter band.” Other characters you can expect to see on the ride include Prince Naveen, Mama Odie, Eudora (Tiana’s mom), Charlotte, “Big Daddy,” the King and Queen of Maldonia, and Naveen’s brother — Prince Ralphie.

The ride will feature the return of various voice actors from the original movie (including Bruno Campos as Prince Naveen, Michael Leon Wooley as Louis, and, of course, Anika Noni Rose as Princess Tiana), original music (including a song created by PJ Morton), and much more.
