Magic Kingdom has been going through a LOT of changes over the past few years.
Frontierland
TRON Lightcycle / Run finally opened in April 2023, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure just opened in Frontierland in the ride building that used to house Splash Mountain (same ride system, different theming), and Country Bear Jamboree went under refurbishment in January to introduce a new show. And it’s finally ALMOST time to experience this updated attraction!
Next week, the new version of this show, titled Country Bear Musical Jamboree, will be opening! The updated attraction debuts on July 17th!
Country Bear Musical Jamboree
The attraction will still be a musical show starring our favorite bears (but Liver Lips McGrowl has been renamed to Romeo McGrowl). The new show features an all-new act with the bears singing classic Disney songs in pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass styles. We know for a fact we’ll be hearing “Bare Necessities” in a rockabilly style!

The show itself is now inspired by the Opry-style shows found in Nashville, Tennessee, and Nashville artists were involved in the new song arrangements to ensure authenticity! We can’t wait to pay VERY close attention and see all the easter eggs from the original show because Disney has confirmed that they will be present.
