Do you love character dining at Disney World?
Character dining can be a fun way to have interactions in a different setting than waiting in line at the parks — and all while you’re enjoying a meal. While most character dining locations in Disney World keep it pretty consistent, there’s one that changes regularly!
Hollywood and Vine is a character dining restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. At breakfast it’s home to the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine character breakfast buffet. Characters can vary, but you will usually find Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins and Roadster Goofy during this meal!
For lunch and dinner at Hollywood and Vine, you can go to Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. And today, the “season” is changing! Minnie’s Summertime Dine starts today and will run through, well, the SUMMER! (PRO TIP: Remember that Halloween season starts very early in Disney World — usually by the second week of August! So you can expect the Summertime Dine to end around then and be replaced by a Halloween seasonal meal.) You can meet Minnie and friends in their beach-inspired costumes. In addition to Minnie, you will usually find Mickey, Goofy, and Pluto!
Minnie really knows how to throw a dinner party, and you’ll find a buffet that includes oven-roasted herbed chicken, carved beef tenderloin, seared salmon, spice-rubbed pork loin and a plant-based roasted mushroom-farro risotto.
We’re bread pudding lovers here at DFB, and we’re also pleased to report that there’s usually a seasonal bread pudding on the dessert table!
Pricing for Minnie’s Summertime Dine is $63 per adult and $40 per child (ages 3-9). Our best advice is to make an advance dining reservation for your meal here! You can do that through the My Disney Experience app, the Disney World web site, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE up to 60 days in advance of your visit.
If you can’t make it during the summertime season, Hollywood and Vine also offers Minnie’s Halloween Dine (which usually runs from mid-August through October), and Minnie’s Holiday Dine (which usually runs from November through early January) to wrap up 2024. We’ll let you know the exact dates for those when they are announced — so keep following us here at DFB!
